Corratec is expanding its electric mountain bike range for the 2027 season with the E-Power RS C, a carbon full-suspension bike with 160 mm of rear travel powered by the Avinox M2S motor. In Boost mode, the package claims up to 150 Nm of torque and up to 1,500 watts, fed by an 800 Wh battery fully integrated into the down tube. The Bavarian manufacturer offers the platform in two versions that share frame, geometry, travel, motor and battery, and differ only in their build kit: the Factory at 8,999 euros and the Pro at 5,999 euros. Both run 29-inch wheels and come in sizes S, M and L.

Three thousand euros separate the two versions of the Corratec E-Power RS C, the Bavarian brand’s new electric mountain bike. Between them, the frame is the same, so is the motor, and so is the battery: the whole gap lies in the parts bolted onto it. It is a fairly direct way of telling the customer where their money goes.
The Corratec E-Power RS C stakes everything on the Avinox motor
For this new series, the Upper Bavarian manufacturer has gone for the Avinox M2S unit, the very one fitted to the top end of the electric mountain bike market. Velomotion writes that « Die Oberbayern stellen dem Carbon-Fully mit 160 mm Federweg den extrem kraftvollen Avinox M2S Antrieb zur Seite », and gives the figure that goes with it: up to 150 Nm of torque in Boost mode. Specialist outlet Pedelecs und E-Bikes adds the matching power value, up to 1,500 watts in that same mode.
The energy comes from an 800 Wh pack that velomotion.de describes as « vollständig im Unterrohr integrierter » — fully integrated into the down tube.
One shared platform, two build levels
Corratec is insistent on this point: frame, geometry, travel, motor and battery are identical from one version to the other. The Factory, which Pedelecs und E-Bikes presents as « die höher ausgestattete Variante », the better-equipped version, gets a FOX 36 Float Factory Grip X2 fork with 160 millimetres of travel and a FOX Float Factory shock, with an electronic SRAM GX AXS T-Type drivetrain in 1×12 ranging from 10 to 52 teeth. The official spec sheet lists it in « Light Green, Light Blue, Red », at 8,999 euros recommended retail price.
The Pro comes down to 5,999 euros by changing far more than the suspension. Its official spec sheet describes a package moved down a rung throughout: « RockShox Psylo Gold RC und Super Deluxe Base bilden das 160-mm-Fahrwerk, SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type 1×12 übernimmt die mechanische Schaltung. DT Swiss H1900 Laufräder » — RockShox suspension in place of the FOX, a mechanical Eagle 90 drivetrain in place of the electronic GX AXS, and DT Swiss H1900 wheels instead of the HX1700. Its colours are « Anthracite, Red, Blue ». Both bikes run 29-inch wheels and come in sizes S, M and L.
One more electric enduro in the Avinox wave
With 160 millimetres front and rear and 29-inch wheels, the E-Power RS C falls into the category of versatile full-suspension bikes with an enduro slant. Corratec says the geometry is designed both for technical climbs and for stability on fast descents. The pair is due for the 2027 season. Corratec’s two product sheets carry the recommended retail price — « UVP 8.999,00 € » for the Factory, « UVP 5.999,00 € » for the Pro — but no precise on-sale date appears on them.
