The Caledonia-5, Cervélo’s “all-road” bike, changes its outfit for 2027 without upending its formula. The Canadian brand is refreshing its colour palette and shedding weight on some components, while keeping the versatile character behind the model’s success: riding fast and far, whatever the road.
The Caledonia-5 2027 dressed in Five Black and Sandstone
For 2027, the Caledonia-5 swaps its range of shades for two new colourways: Five Black, a deep black, and Sandstone, a lighter, textured coat. The bike keeps its tyre clearance of up to 36 mm and its full mudguard mounts, carried over from previous versions.
A handlebar and a seatpost borrowed from the R5
The main technical change lies in the contact points: the Caledonia-5 gets the HB18 carbon handlebar and the SP33 carbon seatpost, two parts until now reserved for the R5, the brand’s lightest model. The stated aim: to save weight without giving up comfort. The bike now ships as standard with 32 mm Vittoria Corsa N.EXT TLR G2.0 tyres, against a narrower fitment previously, and keeps its threaded SRAM DUB/BBright bottom bracket as well as storage integrated into the down tube, designed for an inner tube, a multi-tool and a CO2 cartridge.

Five builds, from Rival AXS to Red AXS
Cervélo offers the Caledonia-5 2027 in five builds. The entry-level Rival AXS (48/35 chainrings, 10-36 cassette, Reserve 42|49TA wheels on DT Swiss 370 hubs) is listed at $7,400. Next come the Ultegra Di2 at $8,950 and the Force AXS at $9,000, both with wheels built on DT Swiss 350 hubs, then the Dura Ace Di2 at $12,500 and the Red AXS at $12,750, with DT Swiss 240 hubs. According to the French press, the new range is due to reach dealers progressively between July and August 2026, depending on the model.
