IN BRIEF
Fazua is shutting down on 31 October and has announced that the company CTDI is taking over service, warranty handling and the app for every motor the brand has put on the market. Owners who want to keep their account, rides and profiles must agree to the transfer of their data, health data included, before Wednesday 28 October: without consent, the account is deleted and the bike unpaired from the app, but a new account can be created with CTDI to keep using the bike. For service, any Fazua dealer becomes the point of contact, not just the shop where the bike was bought.
Fazua informed its dealers, then its customers, by email on 23 October. The motor brand bought by Porsche is living out its final days since Porsche ended the eBike Performance venture in May: the promise to maintain service, warranty and spare parts now goes through a service provider.
Fazua: service moves to CTDI
The new operator is CTDI GmbH, based in Malsch. In its email to dealers, it presents itself as a family-owned company active worldwide, with more than 50 years of experience in telecommunications. Fazua states that it takes over the operation and customer support of the app at the end of October, as well as service for all motors sold by the brand.
The new service portal is already online. It offers a dealer search, the Toolbox software, firmware updates and the manuals for the Ride 50 and Ride 60. Owners can also start a warranty claim there themselves.

Two deadlines not to miss
The first deadline falls on 28 October 2026. Transferring data to CTDI, which also includes health data (heart rate, weight, height), requires the user’s consent, Fazua states: otherwise, the existing account will be deleted after that date and the pairing between the bike and the app will disappear, but the user will then be able to create a new account with CTDI in the Fazua app and keep using their bike, under the new operator’s terms and conditions.
The other concerns bikes fitted with the Ride 50. For them to stay connected to the Fazua app, their connectivity software must be updated before the end of April 2027, when the Fazua Rider app will be shut down. The classic Fazua app, for its part, is due to remain supported.
Parts promised, with no time frame
In the event of a fault, Fazua names the dealer as the central point of contact, and any Fazua dealer can now take on the case. Fazua says service and spare parts will remain available over the long term, without giving a specific time frame. Dealers, for their part, can only submit their Fazua claim-handling flat fee until 30 November.
