IN BRIEF
ENVE is updating its SES 6.7 PRO aero road wheels with all-new rims, 59 mm deep at the front and 65 mm at the rear, compared with 60 and 66 mm previously, to comply with the UCI’s new rim depth limit. They switch to a hooked bead, accept tubeless tyres only and are rated up to 7 bar. Optimised for a 28 mm tyre, they get the new INNERDRIVE PRO hubs with ceramic bearings and weigh 1 495 g per pair according to the brand, with a lifetime warranty.

The new ENVE SES 6.7 PRO, unveiled on 1 October, lose a millimetre of rim depth at both the front and the rear. ENVE has redesigned its rims, changing the bead type and the hubs along the way.
ENVE SES 6.7 PRO cut to the UCI limit
The previous SES 6.7 measured 60 mm at the front and 66 mm at the rear. The new one drops to 59 and 65 mm: according to ENVE, the UCI’s new rim depth limit drove this design. The internal width is 22.5 mm, and ENVE has optimised the profile for a 28 mm tyre. According to the official product page, ENVE does not set a maximum tyre width, but warns that aerodynamic performance degrades as you go wider than this reference width.

Back to hooked, tubeless mandatory
The official product page specifies a hooked bead. Escape Collective adds that it is a small hook and that the wheels are only compatible with tubeless tyres, run with or without an inner tube. Standard clincher tyres are not compatible, according to ENVE. Maximum pressure is 100 psi, or 7 bar.
Ceramic hubs and 1 495 g per pair
The wheels get INNERDRIVE PRO hubs, running on ENVE PRO ceramic bearings, which save 60 g compared with the INNERDRIVE Premium hubs according to the brand. Centerlock brake rotors, 100 x 12 mm front and 142 x 12 mm rear axles, Alpina Ultralite spokes. ENVE claims 1 495 g per pair, plus or minus 3 %, including rim tape and valves: 690 g for the front wheel and 805 g for the rear.
The wheels are built to order, with a stated lead time of 8 to 10 weeks depending on the version, and are covered by the brand’s lifetime warranty. The SES 6.7 PRO product page details the versions available.
