Team TotalEnergies swaps Cube for Chinese brand Pardus from 2027

IN BRIEF

Team TotalEnergies is changing bikes: from the 2027 season, Jean-René Bernaudeau’s Vendée-based outfit will ride Pardus bikes, a Chinese brand based in Shandong province, in place of Cube. The team announces a three-season contract, covering its professionals as well as its U19 and U23 squads. The riders will have the SPK EVO G4 and ROBIN EVO G3 road bikes, and the GOMERA EVO time trial bike.

Cube, which Pardus succeeds, was the team’s bike supplier for the 2026 season; the squad previously rode ENVE bikes, from 2024.

Pardus was founded in 2010 and belongs to the Taishan Sports Industry Group, which has supplied equipment to major international competitions, including the Olympic Games, for more than 40 years. The brand officially launched in Europe in May 2026. It follows a path already opened by XDS: the Chinese group invested in the Astana team in 2024, which has since ridden its X-Lab bikes.

The partnership covers the professional team, but also the U19 (CREF) and U23 (Vendée U – Primeo Energie) squads. The riders will choose between two road bikes, the SPK EVO G4 and the ROBIN EVO G3, and will use the GOMERA EVO for time trials.

For Stéphane Heulot, the general manager, welcoming PARDUS means choosing an “ambitious brand that is committed to competing at the highest level of cycling”.

Terry Gong, vice general manager of Pardus, describes the deal as follows:

“As part of Pardus’s development in the European market, we are particularly proud to begin the journey with Jean-René Bernaudeau and his iconic team.”
