Winspace adds the G5 to its gravel range, a T1100 and T800 carbon composite frame that BikeRadar describes as seeking to combine “aerodynamic efficiency and race-focused handling” with very generous tyre clearance. On that last point: the official spec sheet lists 2.25in tyres, or 57 to 58 millimetres, at the front, and 2.1in, or 53 millimetres, at the rear — more than most gravel race bikes. The Chinese brand claims 950 grams for an unpainted size-M frame with an uncut fork steerer. On winspace.fr, the brand’s French store, the frameset alone is listed at €1,999 and the complete bike at €4,999; the international catalogue, meanwhile, prices the frame at $2,200 and three builds from $4,799 to $5,999 depending on the groupset.

Gravel race bikes have started swallowing ever-wider tyres — 57 millimetres at Scott and Factor, 58 at Ridley. The Winspace G5 arrives on the same ground, but undercuts the price of entry.
The Winspace G5 aims wide on tyres
That is the line the product page leads with: “Max Tire Clearance: The front wheel can fit 2.25″ (57–58 mm wide) tires, and the rear wheel can fit 2.1″ (53 mm wide) tires.” BikeRadar, which covered the launch on 4 September, sees it as the bike’s central argument: the outlet writes that Winspace “claims room for 58mm tyres at the front and 53mm at the rear, giving the bike considerably more scope for wide rubber than many gravel race bikes”.
The weight figure comes from the brand: according to BikeRadar, “the quoted 950g figure applying to an unpainted, uncut size-medium frame” — 950 grams for a bare size M, unpainted and with an uncut fork steerer, two caveats that change the result on the scales.
€1,999 for the frame at the French store
Winspace sells direct, and runs a French shopfront separate from its international catalogue. On winspace.fr, published by “Winspace France”, the G5 frameset page shows €1,999 and the complete bike page €4,999 — two prices read in a browser rendering, each matched to its reference by the store’s own data. The international catalogue, meanwhile, lists the same frame at “Regular price $2,200.00”.
For complete bikes, BikeRadar details three levels: “Complete bikes range from $4,799 for a Shimano GRX RX825 Di2 build to $5,999 for the top-spec SRAM Force AXS version, with both builds including the Adventure Handlebar and Lún GRAPID 2 wheels. In between them is a SRAM Rival AXS build priced at $5,199.”
The frame details that matter
One option takes the G5 beyond fast-rolling gravel: according to BikeRadar, “there’s also an optional suspension fork for riders looking beyond smooth gravel, with a RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR adding 30mm of travel and a full lockout for an additional $500” — a suspension fork fitted as an extra, 30 millimetres of travel and a full lockout, for $500 more.
Cable routing is fully internal. The down tube houses a storage compartment closed by a removable magnetic hatch — a feature that has become common on gravel race bikes.
The G5 replaces the G3 in the brand’s gravel range. As of publication of this article, the official spec sheet gives no separate on-sale date: the frameset and the complete builds are already listed for order.
