The Newmen Streem G.48 keeps its hooks
The official product page for the Newmen Streem G.48 CS describes a rim 48 mm deep, with an internal width of 27 mm and an external width of 45 mm. The brand states that, like its other road and gravel wheels, it keeps a hooked profile. The official product page lists 21 spokes at the front and 21 at the rear, carbon Vonoa Aero Wide. The hubs are FADE R CS with Center Lock mounting. The maximum permitted system weight is 130 kg.
The set is claimed at 1,390 g. The CS version is also available with silver decals, and Newmen states that all of its carbon-spoked wheels, without exception, are built in the Allgäu, in Germany.
Three diameters eventually, just one to start with
The G.48 is presented in 28, 30.5 and 32 inches, with 28 inches corresponding to 700c. The two larger diameters, however, are only promised for later, with no date. As of 6 November, no version of the G.48 was available yet: Newmen announces the carbon-spoked variant, the CS, for soon, and the steel-spoked one for spring 2027.
