Reserve 30|XC: the carbon cross-country wheels now come in 32-inch

IN BRIEF

Reserve now offers its 30|XC carbon cross-country wheels in 32-inch, alongside the 29-inch. The brand explains that it designed a rim profile specific to the 29 and the 32-inch, to balance weight and stiffness. The 32-inch pair, built on DT Swiss 350 hubs with Degree of Freedom, is listed at €1,799 on the brand’s European store ($1,799 in the United States), and the rim is also sold on its own. Reserve keeps its lifetime warranty and no rider weight limit.

Reserve, the carbon wheel brand, is adding the 32-inch size to its XC race wheel. The official product page for the Reserve 30|XC offers it in 29 and 32-inch, with the same promise for these race wheels: “Wider, lighter, faster”.

A Reserve 30|XC rim designed for 32-inch

The brand explains that it designed a rim profile specific to each diameter, 29 and 32-inch, to optimise the balance between weight and stiffness for the use of each size. The product page also states that additional spokes create a stronger, stiffer wheel than a 24-spoke wheel.

The product page points out that these wheels were used by Luca Martin to win the XCO and XCC overall titles in 2026. The high-end SL version, with Vonoa carbon spokes and DT 180 hubs, is offered in 29-inch.

€1,799 a pair, or the rim alone

On Reserve’s European store, the 32-inch pair built on DT Swiss 350 hubs with Degree of Freedom, XD freehub body and 6-bolt discs, is listed at €1,799, the same figure as in dollars on the US store. The product page also offers the 32-inch rim on its own, for a custom build. Like the rest of the range, these wheels are covered by Reserve’s lifetime warranty, with no rider weight limit, and use semi-hooked rims.
