IN BRIEF

Evidence Engineering, a young Polish company based in Rzeszów, is presenting an adjustable MTB stem offering 12 configurations as its first product. Reach runs from 20 to 45 mm, stack is 33 or 45 mm, and the handlebar clamp comes in 58 or 70 mm widths. Designed for trail, enduro, downhill and e-bikes, it weighs 187 g and costs €199 including VAT. The brand says it has sent priority access to its first batch to its waiting list; the second batch and the online shop are announced for December 2026.

Evidence Engineering bets on a stem you can adjust

Changing stems to gain a centimetre of reach or height means buying another part and hoping to get it right. Evidence Engineering offers the opposite: a single stem whose geometry you change. The design combines six reach and stack settings, then two clamp widths, giving the 12 configurations announced.

The values are engraved on the stem body. Reach can be set to 20, 30, 35 or 45 mm and stack to 33 or 45 mm. The 20 and 30 mm reach settings are, however, only possible with the 45 mm stack. The handlebar clamp can be fitted at 58 or 70 mm wide, but only for 35 mm diameter bars.

An MTB stem designed for downhill and e-bikes

The stem targets demanding uses: trail, enduro, downhill and e-bikes, in ASTM category 5, for a total weight of 130 kg including bike, rider and gear. It fits a 1 1/8 inch steerer, with 24 mm of clamp height and 21 mm minimum insertion. On the scales, it weighs 187 g.

Small batches before the shop

Production is starting in small runs. The brand says it sent priority access to the first batch to its waiting list, which numbers more than 300 people for 40 stems made. The second batch and the online shop are announced for December 2026, priced at €199, including 23% VAT.
