Bosch is expanding its electric bike ecosystem for 2026 with a set of key updates. What’s new in the eBike Flow app
With version 1.34 of the eBike Flow app, Bosch introduces features that will appeal to tech enthusiasts. The most original addition is undoubtedly “Trick Check”, which automatically detects certain tricks performed on the bike, such as jumps or wheelies. Riders can track their performance in detail, a real plus for those who like to push their limits.
Another significant improvement is the integration of heart rate data into the activity statistics. You can now review how your heart rate developed after your ride, provided you have a connected sensor and your display is not the Intuvia 100.
Hardware and new motors
Bosch is innovating on the hardware side too. The new vertical SmartphoneGrip lets you mount your smartphone above the stem, turning it into the main display for navigation and real-time tracking. This new system can charge the phone by induction or USB-C using the bike’s battery.
On the motor side, Bosch is introducing the Performance Line PX, which looks tailored to trekking riders. This motor delivers 700 W of power with 90 Nm of torque, promising 400% assistance. What is new here is its quiet operation and the Auto mode, which automatically adjusts the assistance level to the conditions encountered.
Refining the eShift and ABS systems
In 2026, Bosch continues to refine its shifting and braking systems. The eShift solution gains new partners such as TRP and Shimano, offering more choice in electronic drivetrains. The collaboration with Classified Cycling also simplifies shifting with a system built into the hub.
Bosch’s ABS braking system, already thoroughly revised in recent years, gains a major new partner: Shimano. This widens the range of compatible brakes, ensuring better safety across various types of electric bike. With these innovations, Bosch aims to improve the overall user experience while offering more flexibility and more safety.
