A capable mid-drive motor for city riding

Tenways is expanding its range with the Ago Performance electric bike, fitted with the Bosch Performance Line motor. This mid-drive unit delivers 75 Nm of torque, providing strong assistance for smooth, effortless riding in urban traffic.

Pairing that motor with an Enviolo belt drive makes for a quiet and virtually maintenance-free ride. The Enviolo continuously variable hub is especially valued for its ability to adjust the gear ratio even at a standstill, which is very handy in town.

Comfort and equipment to match

Comfort has not been overlooked, with a suspension fork and a suspension seatpost. The 29-inch wheels help smooth out rough road surfaces, while the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes ensure safe stopping.

Thanks to the Bosch Smart System and the Kiox 300 display, you can customise your electric assistance and access connected features, making day-to-day use easier.

One size only: a caveat

Despite its many strengths, the Ago Performance comes in a single size only, which could cause fit problems for riders under 1.70 m. The stem is adjustable, however, so it can accommodate a certain range of heights.

With an appealing launch price of €3,099, the Ago Performance looks like a competitive option for anyone after a well-equipped e-bike without breaking the bank, even if the one-size-only question still has to be factored in.
