IN BRIEF

Stevens is relaunching its Custom Bike programme for 2027. Customers configure their bike online, from the frameset to the bar tape, via the components, wheels and cockpit; final assembly is done by hand in Hamburg. The bikes are sold only through the brand’s network of around 500 authorised dealers, in Germany and across Europe.

An orange frame with purple bar tape, another in navy and sand with red tape: Stevens’ images set the tone. Stevens is putting its made-to-measure bike programme back in the spotlight, with bikes configured by the customer and assembled by hand in Hamburg.

The configurator lets customers choose the frameset, components, wheels, cockpit and even the bar tape. The programme is aimed at road riding, training, commuting and everyday sporty riding. Once the configuration is finalised, the bike is assembled by hand in Hamburg. The press release states that the network of around 500 authorised dealers, in Germany and across Europe, handles personalised advice for customers.

“A Custom Bike shows who you are and how you ride,” sums up Sören Borchering, product manager at Stevens. The brand’s press release sums up the ambition: to turn these wishes into a bike that “feels right from the very first metre: individual, high-end and typically Stevens”.

Sold only through dealers

Stevens sells these bikes exclusively through its network of around 500 authorised dealers, in Germany and across Europe.
