IN BRIEF
Stevens has renewed the Super Prestige, its race cyclo-cross frame. The Hamburg-based brand claims a 995-gram carbon frame and a 420-gram fork, sold as a frameset for €2,499. Two complete bikes come with the launch: a Shimano Ultegra Di2 2×12 version at €4,399 for 7.7 kg, and a SRAM Rival AXS 1×13 version at €3,399 for 8.0 kg. These prices are listed in euros by Stevens — identical on its German and French pages for both complete bikes; the frameset price, however, appeared on 6 August only on the German price list. Stevens describes a lighter design and a more aggressive geometry, with increased clearance where the seat tube meets the chainstays — the spot that clogs fastest in the mud. Both models take the maximum tyre width allowed by the UCI and leave the factory on Schwalbe X-One R Evolution 33-622.

Cyclo-cross is a discipline where you have to carry your bike several times per race, and where the mud decides the rest. That is about all you need to know to understand the obsessions of Stevens’ new Super Prestige: shedding weight, going onto the shoulder more easily and letting the muck through.
A cyclo-cross frame under the kilo
UCI-approved, the new Super Prestige is presented by Stevens as a completely redesigned high-end cyclo-cross bike. Stevens claims 995 grams for the Carbon SL Fiber frame and 420 grams for the fork. The full frameset is listed at €2,499 on Stevens’ German price list; on 6 August, its French page did not yet show a price. Cable routing is internal, the bottom bracket remains pressfit BB86 and the fork steerer is tapered, from 1 1/8″ to 1 1/2″.
On its product page, Stevens sums up the overhaul in two phrases: a lighter design and a more aggressive geometry. Head angles range from 70° to 72° depending on size, across six sizes from 48 to 61 cm. The brand also states that the maximum total weight — rider, bike and luggage — is capped at 115 kg, and that the carbon models accept neither a trailer nor a child seat. Stevens has also flattened the lower part of the top tube, to make shouldering the bike easier in the carrying sections and to ensure a secure grip.

The new Super Prestige banks on clearance
On its product page, Stevens makes this a central argument. Frame and fork offer extra clearance, “especially where the seat tube meets the chainstays”, the brand writes. Anyone who has watched a rear wheel jam solid in a waterlogged cyclo-cross will understand why it matters: that is precisely where the dirt builds up and eventually stops the bike.
Both models take the maximum tyre width allowed by the UCI and ship on Schwalbe X-One R Evolution 33-622. In its usage data for the cyclo-cross category, Stevens also lists tyre widths from 28 to 42 mm. On the drivetrain side, Bikerumor reports that the frame is compatible with both 1x and 2x, with a UDH derailleur hanger and a removable front derailleur mount; the outlet, however, leaves open the question of whether it is reserved for electronic drivetrains.

Two complete bikes, two philosophies
The top of the range is called Super Prestige ULT: €4,399 for 7.7 kg, with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 2×12 drivetrain, Leeze CC 45 BASIC AR wheels and a Cross Spectrum colourway. The double chainring remains a deliberate choice in top-level cyclo-cross, where riders want fine gearing steps on courses that alternate fast straights and accelerations.
Below it, the Super Prestige Rival comes down to €3,399 for 8.0 kg, with a SRAM Rival AXS 1×13 drivetrain and DT Swiss E 1800 Spline wheels, in the Fenland Green colourway. Three hundred grams and a thousand euros separate the two bikes, which share the same frame. Both are announced as available at Stevens dealers.
Against the previous generation, whose 2022 price list is still online at Stevens, the frameset climbs from €1,999 to €2,499, while the complete bikes come down: €4,499 for the Super Prestige Di2 of the time against €4,399 for the ULT, and €3,999 for the Super Prestige Force eTap AXS against €3,399 for the Rival, which has gone from 12 to 13 speeds.
