IN BRIEF
The Reeb SST moves to a new generation, shown as a prototype: a steel full-suspension trail mountain bike with 120 mm of travel, built in Longmont, Colorado. The frame has been redesigned, the geometry reworked for more stability on technical descents, and the kinematics of the flex-stay suspension improved. The bike is on display at the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival from 6 to 8 November; release is planned for 2027, with no price announced.

Launched in 2022, the Reeb SST set out to combine the playful character of the brand’s steel hardtails with the capabilities of a modern trail mountain bike. Its new generation keeps the concept, with a reworked frame, geometry and suspension.
A Reeb SST reworked for more stability on descents
Reeb says it has evolved the geometry to gain stability and confidence on technical descents, without losing climbing efficiency or agility. Reeb cites a head angle slackened by 0.5°, a seat angle steepened by the same amount, a slightly taller stack and slightly longer chainstays; at this stage, the brand does not detail every geometry change. The 120 mm flex-stay platform gets revised kinematics.

3D printing in the steel frame
The frame also changes in the details. The rocker pivot housing is now produced by additive manufacturing, and the bottom bracket junction has been enlarged: the brand says this brings improved alignment and a more integrated assembly. A new bridged rocker with a pinch-bolt clamping system completes the list.
“The SST has always been about getting more fun out of it than the travel would suggest,” says Jeff Lenosky, Brand Director at Reeb.
Built in Colorado, expected in 2027
The prototype was designed and built by the Reeb team in Longmont, Colorado. The brand’s workshops are housed at the Hooptie Bike Lounge, which brings frame building, a bike shop and a craft beer bar under one roof.
The next-generation SST is still in development, for a 2027 release. Reeb will announce specifications, pricing and availability as development progresses.
