Factor has spun off a time trial and triathlon version of its ONE aero bike: the Factor ONE SP keeps the ONE’s frame and gets a dedicated time trial bar, the ONE SP Bar, made of high-modulus carbon and bolted directly to the fork steerer. The cockpit adjusts in height in 5 mm steps, up to 35 mm on the extensions. The brand raced it at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice before putting it on sale. In Europe, Factor’s website lists it from €8,899, in sizes 47 to 58 cm and four colours.

Rather than design yet another time trial frame, Factor went the other way: it started from its aero road bike, the ONE, and grafted a time trial cockpit onto it. According to Factor, which makes the claim in its launch article, the ONE is the fastest and most aerodynamic road bike in the world; the ONE SP extends it to solo efforts, against the clock or in triathlon.
The Factor ONE SP: a bar rather than a new frame
Everything rests on the ONE SP Bar. This high-modulus carbon bar was developed specifically for the ONE and mounts directly on the fork steerer via a four-bolt interface, for a clean, highly integrated connection between cockpit and bike, according to the official product page. An extra 10 mm of height can be added at the mount, and the extensions can be raised by up to 35 mm, in 5 mm increments.
The bike comes with an accessory mount placed between the arms and a Black Inc computer mount compatible with Garmin and Wahoo. On the frame side, the product page lists tyre clearance up to 34 mm, 405 mm chainstays on all sizes and a 73.3° head angle in size 54. Compatible drivetrains are electronic, single or double chainring, from SRAM, Shimano and Campagnolo.
Tested at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice
Before its launch, the ONE SP raced. Factor handed the bike to three of its triathletes, Alexandre Caille, Jens Emil and Nick Thompson, for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice, a bike course with around 1,200 metres of climbing. According to Factor, Nick Thompson, 11th overall, set the second-fastest time on the Strava segment for the bike leg; Alexandre Caille says he took three Strava KOMs on hotly contested descents. The bikes were fitted with a Black Inc Disc wheel at the rear and a 62 mm SIXTY TWO at the front.
Adaptation times varied widely: around six weeks for Nick Thompson, roughly a month for Jens Emil, and just two rides for Alexandre Caille, who received his bike on the Wednesday before the race. “The ONE SP just feels like an F1 racing car,” Jens Emil sums up in the article published by Factor. According to BikeBiz, the set-up had also been used in the individual time trial of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes.
Price and availability
On Factor’s European store, the ONE SP is listed from €8,899 including VAT, with the same price throughout the European Union; the price list rises to €16,099 depending on the specification. It comes in sizes 47 to 58 cm, in Chrome, Onyx Black, Nimbus Grey and Silverstone, and is sold through selected Factor retailers as well as on the brand’s website.
