Cube is taking a further step in its trekking e-bike range with the Kathmandu Hybrid ONE11, its first full-suspension model. Available from the 2026 season, this high-end electric bike targets touring riders looking for more comfort on rough roads, on tracks or on long rides carrying luggage.
Cube Kathmandu Hybrid ONE11: carbon frame and full suspension
The Kathmandu Hybrid ONE11 is built around a C:62 Monocoque carbon frame made using Cube’s Advanced Twin Mold technology, paired with a 6061 T6 aluminium rear triangle. That combination aims for a balance between low weight and stiffness, while integrating the IC 3.0 rack directly into the rear triangle.
The rear suspension uses what Cube calls Efficient Trail Control, a system designed to limit pedal bob and keep pedalling efficient despite the 100 mm of travel. The FSP 4-Link geometry sits at the heart of the design.
Two suspension levels: Fox (SLT) or SR Suntour (Pro)
The top-of-the-range SLT model gets a Fox 34 Float AWL fork and a Fox Float Performance shock, both set up for 100 mm of travel. The Pro 800 model, at a lower price, comes with an SR Suntour XCR34X-Air fork and an SR Suntour EdgeX 2CR shock — the same 100 mm of travel.
On the SLT, the drivetrain is Shimano XT Di2 in 12-speed and the brakes are Magura Gustav Pro with ABS. The Pro 800 model goes for a Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain with Shimano hydraulic brakes.
Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 and 800 Wh battery
Both versions share the same Bosch drive system: the Performance Line CX Gen 5 paired with the 800 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. The motor is fitted centrally in the frame, in the usual position for Cube trekking e-bikes. The system can be managed via the Bosch Connect Module for GPS tracking.
27 kg, integrated rack and adjustable saddle
At 27.1 kg according to Cube, the Kathmandu Hybrid ONE11 SLT sits in the upper end of the range for high-end trekking e-bikes — a weight consistent with combining a carbon frame, full suspension and an 800 Wh battery. The bike comes with 55 mm Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency Super Race V-Guard tyres on Newmen Performance 30 rims, an adjustable stem and a dropper seatpost. Lights and mudguards are fitted as standard.
