Specialized Vado 3 X: a full-suspension bike
Specialized is innovating once more with the launch of the Vado 3 X, adding to its e-bike range. The brand now offers a full-suspension model, definitively burying the simple front fork of the previous versions. With 130 mm of travel at the front and 120 mm at the rear, this new bike promises optimum comfort on every type of terrain.
Specialized has not only reworked the suspension system. The Specialized 3.1 motor, similar to the one in the Levo 4, can deliver 810 W of power with an impressive 105 Nm of torque. On top of that, the 840 Wh battery provides a range of up to 150 km in eco mode.
Two models, two approaches
The Vado 3 X comes in two distinct versions: the more accessible 4.0 and the higher-end 6.0. Both share the same motor and the same battery, but they differ in equipment and technological sophistication. The 6.0 sets itself apart with its 12-speed SRAM Eagle AXS electronic drivetrain and with a Garmin rear radar for added safety.
For riders looking to make the most of their purchase, the 4.0 version keeps an 11-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain and comes with an SR Suntour fork, which allows it to remain more affordable within the Specialized range.
A bike built for versatility
With the Vado 3 X, Specialized blurs the boundaries between urban, trekking and off-road bikes. This model is equipped for daily commutes just as much as for outings on rough tracks. The 2.6in tyres, inspired by mountain bikes, guarantee good grip and comfort.

In the United States, the Vado 3 X 4.0 starts at $5499.99, while the 6.0 reaches $7999.99. The European market should see an entry price of around €5,300 for the 4.0 and €6,400 for the 6.0. With this pricing, Specialized is taking on high-end models such as those from Giant, targeting customers looking for comfort and advanced technology.
