IN BRIEF
Scicon Sports is marking Tadej Pogačar’s fifth Tour de France win with a limited edition of its Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium glasses, named 5 Tour and produced in 500 numbered units. The frame carries the engraved names of the UAE Team Emirates riders who supported him on the 2026 edition; the lens carries the Eiffel Tower and the number 5. The Italian equipment maker sells it as a boxed set, with two spare lenses. It is listed at €500 on the brand’s own shop.

There are quieter ways to celebrate a win. To mark the fifth Tour de France won by Tadej Pogačar, Scicon Sports has chosen to engrave the event straight into the product that has been with the Slovenian since his victory at the 2020 Tour de France: his glasses.
Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium: 500 units, engraved
The starting point is familiar: the Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium, the model the rider wears in competition. This “5 Tour” version keeps its construction — Grilamid TR90 front on the brand’s Panorama Arch architecture, medical-grade titanium temples — and adds what turns it into a commemorative series.
Engraved on the frame are the names of the UAE Team Emirates riders who supported Pogačar during the 2026 Tour. On the lens sit the Eiffel Tower — the finish in Paris — and the number 5. According to the brand’s official product page, the series is limited to 500 numbered pieces.

A box rather than a pair
The product comes as a package. Scicon’s official page describes a “cofanetto celebrativo”, a commemorative box, supplied with two spare lenses — one photochromic, one gradient. The same page also lists a hard case, two microfibre pouches, a multi-function screwdriver, an anti-fog spray and five wipes. The box itself retraces, according to endurance.biz, the Slovenian’s wins since 2020.
The standard lens is a cylindrical Base 6 with 17% light transmission, meaning category 3 — the tint for sunny days, not for a dawn ride. Added to that are the usual high-end coatings: anti-reflective, UV protection, hydrophobic and oleophobic layers, mirror finish, blue-light filter. Ventilation runs through the brand’s VortexFlow system, with openings spread across the frame.

Five Tours, one supplier
“Being alongside Tadej throughout each of these five victories has been an honour that goes far beyond technical sponsorship,” says Heinrich Dannhauser, chief executive of Scicon Sports, quoted by endurance.biz. The phrasing captures fairly well what an equipment maker is after with this kind of object: less about selling 500 pairs of glasses than about fixing an association in time.
The price, finally. Scicon lists €500 on its online shop, where the box can be ordered directly, with shipping announced within around fifteen working days.
