IN BRIEF

Revel is launching the Ranger Ti, a version of its Ranger full-suspension mountain bike that pairs a titanium front triangle, with 3D-printed junctions, with the carbon rear triangle of the Ranger V3. Revel announces a first limited run of 10 numbered frames, delivered before the end of 2026. The frame costs $5,969 in the United States, and the complete bike with SRAM XX Transmission $12,669. It keeps the CBF suspension and its 120 mm of rear travel, with 130 mm up front.

With the Ranger Ti, Revel mixes both materials on its Ranger mountain bike: titanium at the front, carbon at the rear. It is a small run, sold by reservation.

Ranger Ti: 3D-printed titanium up front

The front triangle is made of 3/2.5 titanium tubing. The head tube, bottom bracket and pivot junctions are 3D-printed, then welded to the tubes. The rear reuses the carbon triangle and links of the Ranger V3, with the brand’s CBF suspension.

Revel promises from titanium “the quiet, damped ride quality”, and from the carbon rear lateral stiffness. The brand does not hide the price to pay: “the titanium front triangle makes the bike heaver and more expensive”, its product page concedes. Bikepacking.com reports a claimed weight of 8.02 pounds for the size L frame. The complete bike pictured by Revel weighs 29.5 pounds, with a SRAM XO kit, Nobl/Bird wheels, a Pike fork and a Deluxe shock.

Geometry designed around 130 mm

The Ranger Ti was designed for a 130 mm fork, and Revel allows a fork of 120 to 140 mm, warning that the geometry and handling then change. The shock measures 190 x 45 mm, in RockShox Deluxe or SIDluxe. Sizes S and M roll on MX, sizes L and XL on 29-inch wheels. The rear takes a 29 x 2.6 tyre.

Ten frames, by reservation

Revel is building only 10 frames to start with, numbered, and is taking reservations with a $500 deposit. The frame costs $5,969. The complete bike with SRAM XX Transmission is $12,669, and $14,169 in the XX Transmission Flight Attendant version. Delivery is planned before the end of 2026. Viewed from France on 14 October, the official product page gave the prices of the frame and complete bikes in dollars.
