IN BRIEF
LOOK is adding a race-focused RS version to its G85 Cezal gravel bike. The painted frame weighs 1,000 g in size M, 200 g less than the standard G85 Cezal frame, LOOK says, and the complete SRAM Red XPLR build is claimed at 7.9 kg. The brand claims 20% more stiffness in key areas, with tyre clearance of 57 mm at the front and 50 mm at the rear. The frameset costs €3,290, and complete bikes start at €6,990 with SRAM Force XPLR.

The LOOK G85 Cezal RS is a race version of the G85 Cezal gravel bike. LOOK’s French product page describes it as “a lightweight gravel race bike, sharp and precise on all terrain” (translated from the French). On paper, the recipe comes down to two figures: a 1,000 g frame in size M, and a 7.9 kg complete bike in its best-equipped version.
A frame LOOK claims is 200 g lighter
LOOK claims the RS frame is 200 g lighter than the standard G85 Cezal frame. Road.cc reports that LOOK has reinforced the carbon layup: the brand claims 19% more stiffness at the bottom bracket and 20% more at the head tube compared with the base model. The French product page speaks of “+20% stiffness in key areas, with no compromise on comfort” (translated from the French).
Escape Collective notes that the only visible difference from the G85 Cezal is the lack of integrated storage: the RS does without the in-frame hatch. On comfort, LOOK highlights its 3D Wave, whose seatstays “filter 15% of vibrations without compromising lateral power transfer”.

G85 Cezal geometry, tyres up to 57 mm
In size M, road.cc gives a stack of 590 mm and a reach of 380 mm, with 425 mm chainstays. Escape Collective writes that tyre clearance remains 57 mm at the front and 50 mm at the rear with a 1x drivetrain; road.cc adds 45 mm with 2x. The geometry is still designed for a suspension fork with up to 60 mm of travel, Escape Collective specifies.
The frame keeps simple standards: a threaded T47 bottom bracket, a UDH derailleur hanger, 12 mm thru-axles, 160 mm flat mount disc brakes and a 27.2 mm carbon seatpost. It takes a chainring of up to 50 teeth. LOOK fits its Aero Carbon Combo cockpit.

Two SRAM XPLR builds and a frameset
The RS comes as a frameset at €3,290 and as two complete bikes, with SRAM Force XPLR and a 40-tooth chainring or SRAM Red XPLR with a 42-tooth chainring. Both roll on 42 mm Fulcrum Sharq C25 wheels; road.cc lists 45 mm Hutchinson Touareg Race tyres. The Force XPLR build is priced at €6,990.
LOOK says, as quoted by road.cc, that the bike “prioritises racing needs to deliver a competition-ready setup for 99% of race scenarios”. The French product page presents it as “designed for competitors” (translated from the French).
