A well-judged addition to the Vefaa line-up
Launched in 2026, the Bonjour Neo is Vefaa’s answer to growing demand for affordable urban electric bikes. With a starting price of 1,999 euros, it sits strategically below the Bonjour Evo, putting a quality e-bike within reach of a wider audience.
While the Neo drops some of its predecessor’s more advanced technology, such as regenerative braking and the Ebike Labs system, it delivers refined assistance thanks to the many software iterations developed by the team around Roc Argiles, Vefaa’s founder.
A design built around simplicity and comfort
The Neo relies on a single-speed Gates Carbon Drive belt drive, which means minimal maintenance and silent running, ideal for city journeys. No more chain slipping off or derailleur to adjust.
To guarantee proper comfort, it is fitted with a Suntour NEX-E25 suspension fork, a suspension seatpost and Schwalbe Super Moto X tyres. That equipment choice makes the bike suited to sometimes chaotic urban surfaces.
Rethought design and security
Beyond the mechanical improvements, the Bonjour Neo’s frame has been reworked. The battery is now easier to get at, since it lifts out from the top, and the locking options have been expanded with the Abus One Key system, a plus for riders with high security demands.
The bike also includes an Ananda D130C display with NFC locking, adding a layer of anti-theft protection while making everyday use easier.
A distribution network on the rise
Vefaa has kept expanding its distribution network, going from a handful of dealers to around forty in under a year. That comes alongside a notable rise in sales, with 150 units shifted in early 2026, a sign of renewed interest in e-bikes in France.
The Bonjour Neo, available in five colours (beige, red, black, green, blue), should appeal to a broad audience looking for an affordable, well-equipped e-bike.
