IN BRIEF — US manufacturer Twin Six has opened pre-orders for its new Standard Ti 3X2 titanium frame, built around 32-inch wheels and conceived as a hybrid between gravel and rigid mountain bike, with drop bars or a flat bar.

Built from T6 Standard 3.25 titanium tubing, the frame takes tyres up to 2.4 inches wide, with 148 mm boost rear axle spacing and a 46 x 68 mm PF30 bottom bracket. The chainring can go up to 38 teeth. The 31.6 mm seatpost, with its 34.9 mm clamp, and the flanged 44 mm head tube round out a spec sheet aimed at adventure and off-road riding, with flat-mount disc brakes.
An openly assumed hybrid between gravel and singletrack
According to Twin Six, this frame “combines the best” of two existing models in the range: the Standard Ti 29/FSU, built for singletrack, and the Standard Ti Rando, its gravel frame. The Standard Ti 3X2 takes drop bars as readily as a flat bar, and carries 3D-printed titanium dropouts and chainstay yoke, compatible with UDH-standard derailleurs.
Pre-orders open until 6 July
The frame comes in four sizes (17, 19, 21 and 23 inches), priced at 2,350 dollars. Pre-orders, open until 6 July 2026, get a 200 dollar discount, bringing the price down to 2,150 dollars. The quoted delivery time is 10 to 12 weeks.
