The AGO Air goes belt drive: a strategic choice
Tenways is taking a new step with the release of the AGO Air Belt, replacing the traditional chain with a Gates CDX belt. That choice was guided by the desire to simplify day-to-day maintenance, a feature much appreciated by urban cyclists.
The belt, paired with a five-speed Shimano Nexus internal hub, does away with any need for lubrication and cuts down on grease splatter. That not only extends the lifespan of the components, but also delivers a smoother and quieter ride. A significant advantage for those who ride around town regularly.

Performance suited to everyday riding
The AGO Air Belt keeps the 80 Nm mid-drive motor, already tested and approved. The model therefore continues to offer natural pedalling, with a 560 Wh battery promising good times on two wheels.
The technical specifications, notably the Shimano hydraulic brakes and the suspension fork, remain unchanged. The bike also offers a slightly reduced weight of 23.5 kg, confirming its status as a sound choice for commuting.

A model aimed at urban cyclists
Despite its optimised design, the Nexus 5 has its limits, notably a narrower gear range. This bike will mainly appeal to riders who stick to flat urban and suburban journeys rather than to cyclists tackling hilly terrain.
