IN BRIEF

Taiwanese brand Gusto is moving into gravel with the GTG, a carbon platform offered in three models: Pro TE with Shimano GRX825 Di2, Sport TE with GRX717 Di2 and Elite Ultra with GRX RX610 2×12. road.cc specifies that all three models get Gusto’s own Attaque carbon wheels with a 40 mm rim depth and 27 mm internal width. The frame clears tyres from 45 to 50 mm and features the brand’s I.L.C. anti-vibration technology. In the UK, road.cc lists prices from £2,249 to £3,749.

The range comprises three models. At the top, the GTG Pro TE gets Shimano Ultegra GRX825 Di2 in a 12-speed single-chainring setup. The GTG Sport TE gets GRX717 Di2 in 1×12. The GTG Elite Ultra gets a double-chainring GRX RX610 groupset, in 2×12.

Gusto calls the GTG “a performance-focused carbon platform designed for speed, comfort and versatility across mixed terrain”.

In-house wheels and vibration-filtering carbon

All three versions share Attaque carbon wheels, Gusto’s in-house brand: 40 mm rim depth and 27 mm internal width. The official product page lists 1,360 g for the G100 pair and a rim compatible with tyres from 35 to 52 mm. The frame itself accepts tyres from 45 to 50 mm.

On the carbon side, the brand highlights its I.L.C. technology, short for Innegra Latex Composite. Gusto explains, in the press release relayed by road.cc, that it is meant to dampen vibrations on rough surfaces while keeping the ride responsive. The frame is UCI-approved for racing and comes with a lifetime warranty.
