Continental has previewed the 32in Dubnital, which it announces as its first tyre in this diameter, due in April 2027.
The 32in Dubnital, between cross-country and gravel
Continental presents the 32in Dubnital as a fast, versatile tyre straddling cross-country mountain biking and gravel. It carries over the Dubnital tread pattern, the Race Casing and the Rapid Compound. By scaling up the tread pattern, the brand promises better momentum, easier obstacle rolling, and more grip and stability.
Why Continental is starting with the Dubnital
Alexander Haenke, Continental’s product manager for MTB and gravel, puts the arrival of the 32in size down to demand. He explained it this way, quoted by BikeRadar:
“The growing interest in 32in wheels is clear, and our priority is ensuring riders have immediate access to Continental’s flagship tire technologies as new wheel sizes emerge.”

The choice of the Dubnital to open the range comes down to its versatility: it allows the brand, Haenke explains, to “support evolving setup preferences and frame designs right out of the gate”.
Widths still unknown
The Dubnital currently comes in 29in, in widths of 2, 2.2 and 2.4in. Escape Collective notes that at the time of the announcement, there was no word on whether the 32in version would follow the same range.
