The brand Velocio is showcasing a “New Fall Arrivals” selection on its store, its autumn new arrivals. It mainly features pieces from its LUXE range, which Velocio associates with long distances (“Long Distance”), and its TRAIL range, which the brand associates with durability in the backcountry (“Backcountry Durability”). The selection also includes the Air Pullover, in men’s and women’s versions, marked “New” on its product page: according to Velocio, this crew-neck pullover combines a lightweight fleece with the merino grid of its Deep Winter Base Layer.
LUXE Air Vest: two layers in one
In the LUXE range, the LUXE Air Vest. According to Velocio, this vest combines high-loft active insulation, a protective shell on the front and a fleece back. The product page details 80 g of active insulation mapped to different zones of the body, and a 55 g front fabric in 100 % recycled polyester, woven in Japan. The brand sums it up as a vest that “combines two layers into one, with the weight of a lightweight jersey”. It sells for $229 in the United States, in men’s and women’s versions.
TRAIL Merino Long Sleeve: merino for mountain biking
For mountain biking, Velocio announces new TRAIL styles “made for cold starts and riding through fall”. The TRAIL Merino Long Sleeve uses, according to the brand, a heavyweight grid-structured fabric blending merino and polyamide (75 % polyamide, 25 % virgin wool) on the front and sleeves: it retains warmth while letting air circulate. A lighter knit panel on the back increases breathability, according to the product page. Velocio presents it as an all-day mountain bike jersey for when temperatures start to drop. Its product page lists $83 to $119 depending on the variant.
Velocio’s LUXE collar, arm warmers and beanie
Three LUXE accessories round out the new arrivals. The LUXE Thermal Collar, a neck warmer in polyamide and virgin wool, is long enough to be pulled up over the face, according to Velocio ($59 in the United States). The LUXE Merino Arm Warmer uses the 170 g merino blend of the LUXE Merino jersey, with reflective logos; Velocio says the aim is to turn the summer jersey into a three-season piece ($99). Finally, the LUXE Merino Beanie uses the same 170 g fabric and is worn under the helmet, according to the brand ($69).
ONE Long Sleeve: new colours
For the ONE range, which Velocio associates with everyday versatility (“Everyday Versatility”), the store flags new colours (“New Colors”) for the ONE Long Sleeve. This jersey in mid-weight “Denier Gradient” fabric (74 % polyamide, 26 % elastane) offers, according to the brand, light thermal protection. It is listed at $169 in the United States.
