Arcade Cycles, a manufacturer based in La Roche-sur-Yon in the Vendée, western France, is adding two models to its 2026 electric range. The Gaby banks on retro looks and ease of use; the Jo’ targets a sportier urban use, with the first appearance of a Bosch motor in the brand’s catalogue as consulted.

Gaby, vintage styling with an automatic gearbox

The Gaby pairs a retro-looking frame, a wide sprung saddle and high swept-back handlebars with a three-speed automatic gearbox motor, with no shifter to operate. The integrated battery, with charger included, comes in two capacities: 15 or 20 Ah, with a five-year warranty, for a claimed range of up to 75 kilometres. The bike weighs 27 kilos and suits riders from 1.50 m to 1.95 m tall. It is fitted with premium Schwalbe tyres, reinforced metal mudguards and a MIK HD-compatible rear rack. It comes in urban grey, pink, cappuccino and sage grey, and starts at €1,890 incl. VAT.

Jo’, Arcade’s first move to a Bosch motor

The Jo’ carries the Bosch Performance Line mid-motor, backed by a Bosch 36V 15Ah battery and a Bosch Purion 200 display. On the version consulted, the transmission runs through a Shimano Nexus hub with 5 internal speeds, shielded from the weather. The bike is available in several colourways — green, grey, black, cream, khaki, cappuccino — for an urban frame in size M, from €2,899 incl. VAT.

Two electric profiles for urban use

Between the Gaby, designed for everyday comfort and simplicity, and the Jo’, more performance-oriented with its Bosch motor, Arcade covers two different ways of approaching the urban electric bike, without straying from its speciality: the French assembly of city bikes.
