Inflating a tyre at the roadside without wrecking your wrist: that is the promise of electric mini pumps, a category that is filling out fast. Schwalbe, the German brand best known for its tyres and the first licensee of the Clik Valve, is entering it with the E-Micro Pump, unveiled in late July 2026.
130 grams in your pocket
The main argument fits in your hand: at 73 × 50 × 32 mm and 130 grams on the scales, the E-Micro Pump slips into a jersey pocket or a saddle bag without weighing you down. Its small electric motor does the work in your place and climbs to 120 psi, or around 8.3 bar — enough to cover both a mountain bike tyre run at low pressure and a road tubular that demands high pressure.

The Schwalbe electric mini pump bets on valve versatility
A digital display shows the pressure live while you inflate, which saves guessing or checking with a separate gauge. The battery recharges over USB-C, like most portable accessories these days. On compatibility, Schwalbe is playing the universal card: the pump works with the Clik Valve — an adapter is supplied — but also with Presta (SV), Schrader (AV) and Dunlop (DV) valves, the three standards found on just about every bike.

The E-Micro Pump is announced at €89.90. That price puts it in the upper middle of the electric mini inflator market, but within a bracket that is now common for this type of accessory, somewhere between the bulk of a CO₂ cartridge and the effort of a conventional hand pump.
