Berk Composites is not a big brand. It is a Slovenian workshop that makes its carbon frames and forks from start to finish, on its own premises. The Cesta, shown at Eurobike 2026, is its road bike: 900 g for the frame, a raw UD finish with 3K weave reinforcements, and a promise of everyday versatility.
Handmade, modern specifications
The Cesta adopts current standards without overdoing it: internal cable routing through a 1.5″ headset, threaded BSA bottom bracket (a deliberate choice, for reliability), universal UDH hanger, and clearance up to 32 mm. The cables run through the handlebar and enter the frame via the stem — clean and without needless complexity.
The complete bike shown with the Campagnolo Super Record 13 groupset — the 13-speed wireless electronic groupset launched by Campagnolo — weighs around 6.7 kg. That is a competitive figure for a handmade bike in this price range.
The logic of custom at €2,800
The stock frameset — three sizes, S to L — is offered at €2,800. Custom geometry rises to €3,300, with “about a hundred options” according to the brand. Eighteen accent colours are available. The stated lead time is 2 to 4 weeks: fast for custom carbon.
For €8,900, Berk delivers a complete Campagnolo Super Record 13 bike. It is not cheap, but set against the level of finish and the 100% European provenance, the positioning holds up against the big brands. The Cesta presents itself first and foremost as “an everyday road bike — light, fast and comfortable”, not as a competition machine.
